I coach pastors who want to become more effective leaders and flourish in life and in service to God and community. I work with pastors from all ministry settings and denominations and take particular interest in coaching LGBTQ+ clergy.
My approach to coaching is:
Client-driven – we work on what matters to you
Constructive – you set self-directed, achievable goals
Compassionate – we seek deeper self-understanding without judgment
Curious – we look below the surface of your work and life
Creative – we imagine, reflect, and wonder together
Consistent – we meet regularly, typically once a month
Confidential – as both a coach and a pastor, I hold confidentiality as a high value
Individual and group coaching
I work one-on-one with pastors who aim to develop their leadership skills, improve time management, reorganize priorities, develop work-life balance, navigate conflict, reimagine sermon preparation, or discern a new call.
I offer affordable group coaching for clergy seeking support and community. Sessions include theological reflection, discussion of ministry issues, and accountability for planned actions, all grounded in prayer.
Administry is a weekly practice used to organize your priorities in ministry and beyond. Over four sessions I will help you customize the tool and offer accountability and encouragement as you develop the practice of using it.
