Vlogging, I hope

The lovely Coasting Anon posted a Vlog at Other Pieces of Me…won’t you play, too? Here are the prompts:

Aunt, Route, Wash, Oil, Theater, Iron, Salmon, Caramel, Fire, Water, Sure, Data, Ruin, Crayon, Toilet, New Orleans, Pecan, Both, Again, Probably, Spitting image, Alabama, Lawyer, Coupon, Mayonnaise, Syrup, Pajamas, Caught

•What is it called when you throw toilet paper on a house?
•What is the bug that when you touch it, it curls into a ball?
•What is the bubbly carbonated drink called?
•What do you call gym shoes?
•What do you say to address a group of people?
•What do you call the kind of spider that has an oval-shaped
•body and extremely long legs?
•What do you call your grandparents?
•What do you call the wheeled contraption in which you carry
•groceries at the supermarket?
•What do you call it when rain falls while the sun is shining?
•What is the thing you change the TV channel with?

And here’s my Vlog…please excuse the ri-donk-ulous hair toss.

  1. I was thinking that "address a group" was looking for the people who said, "Ya'll"… Not sure… But I LOVE your answer!

  2. Nice to hear you speak. I have a covert Southern accent myself, and find it interesting to hear others with one also. And, I agree with Ptolemy; I also think it was looking for those who say, "Y'all" as I continue to do.

  3. In other news, my husband thought the answer to 'What do you call it when it rains while the sun is shining?' was "odd"…his answer for the TPing one was "vandalism".

  4. who is cuter than you!!!On "both," I didn't think about it until you questioned its inclusion, but my wife-in-law (Ken's ex) is from Ohio and she says it "bolth," and funnily, that's how Brandon says it too.

  5. The bug is a roly-poly!And of course, the thing you put your groceries in at the store is a buggy! And I do believe they were probing to see if you'd say y'all — which is always y'all and never ya'll. :)I'm quite sure I'd pronounce some of those words differently than you (I still have some 'southern' in my voice, too, but different from yours) — but I'm not sure I have the nerve to do a vlog!

  6. That was FUN! Nope, I hear no Virginia at all there sweet cheeks! I'll do mine and you'll hear "Southern" again…lol!

  7. I just wanted to let you know that your vlog was the very first video I've watched on my brand new high speed internet connection! If I had a web cam I'd do my own vlog. It was fun to hear you! I say "ant" and Pee-can, and we called the bug a pill bug! Oh and I've always had soda to drink.
