In my effort to finish the Palliser novels before I start at my new call, I have applied myself solely to reading them. In the past couple of weeks I've enjoyed both Phineas Redux (which I particularly enjoyed) and The Prime Minister.
I'm reading all these novels on my Kindle, and I have to say, buying the complete works of Trollope was one of the best values ever. They also make me think fondly of my father, who had the sort of boxed set pictured here. I enjoy thinking of what parts of the books he likely enjoyed most. Phineas Redux involved a court case, and I'm sure he loved the portrayal of the legal system.
On to The Duke's Children!!
