Over the past week, three kind bloggers have mentioned my in association with the Arte Y Pico award. My thanks to Verde at Justice Desserts, to Barbara B. at Views From the Road and to Cecilia at Closeted Pastor. If you don't know them, I hope you'll take a peek at their blogs!
Here's what it's all about:
1) Pick five blogs that you consider deserve this award for their creativity, design, interesting material, and also for contributing to the blogging community, no matter what language.
2) Each award has to have the name of the author and also a link to his or her blog to be visited by everyone.
3) Each award winner has to show the award and put the name and link to the blog that has given her or him the award itself.
4) Award-winner and the one who has given the prize have to show the link of Arte Y Pico blog, so everyone will know the origin of this award which is here: Arte Y Pico.
This award has been making the rounds in my wider circle, so it may be those I'm thinking of have received it already. But here they are:
jo(e), one of the first bloggers I began reading nearly four years ago, continues to touch me with her writing and her photographs. I've been lucky enough to meet her in person!
St. Casserole was an early favorite, too, and is now a friend who I look forward to seeing again later this year.
Kathryn at Good in Parts brings worship and village life alive for her readers, and for the Anglophiles among us, everything about her blog is a treat. Knowing this friend in person has been a privilege.
Jan at A Church for Starving Artists reflects on the church and its intersection with culture in ways that always inspire thought.
I've been reading all those bloggers for a long, long time, so I'd like to include a new blogging friend, too. Joan Calvin writes at Presby-Obia, and I appreciate her honesty and her courage more than I can say.
There are so many wonderful bloggers, it is hard to choose. I'm sure I'm leaving out someone I'll wish I hadn't. I appreciate those who mentioned me, thank you very much.
