The TV ad voiceover man posits, "What’s so great about having the Internet in your pocket?"
And I respond, "Nothing. It’s bad enough having it in my lap."
Continuing to resist iPhones, Crackberry, etc.,

I agree! An elder at my church sent me an email via his crackberry today. Oy.
I love, love, love having the internet in my pocketbook. You don’t know how many times a terrible teleconference or long legislative session has been saved by blog-reading on my trusty little Treo.
Resistance is futile.
P.S. I tagged you for a meme.
Well, Ruby, that does present a problem, since I will need to live up to your example if at all possible!
I agree with you — sometimes.
I think I wouldn’t be able to handle an iPhone. I think it would addict me worse than I am.
I am trying to resist. But I feel it coming – I think the cell phone industry will eventually offer us no choice.
I would so have an iPhone if it didn’t have to be with AT&T. As it is I’m considering a Blackberry Pearl. We’ll see next month when it is time for me to get my next “new every two”.
Hmmm…I remember resisting the cell phone…satellite TV…wifi…
Good luck! 😉
