Still Coughing After All These Days

At the risk of seeming repetitive, I am still sick.

We enjoyed meeting Dos’ parents.

I preached this morning, but managed to withdraw gracefully from other commitments for this afternoon.

I actually took a nap.

Now we’re watching King Arthur, which is dreadful.

I had bronchitis once, and I feel pretty similar at the moment.

Tomorrow I am calling the doctor, I swear.

  1. I hope you feel better soon also. For one who had a bout of bronchitis in the fall, that cough will do you in – and the doctor can fix you up with good meds!

  2. Me no likey Keira Knightly, so I guess that’s why I didn’t remember this movie. I would have passed on it/her even though it has Clive Owen in it.
So, there you go. I will tolerate her for Johnny Depp, but not for Clive Owen. Sorry, Clive.
    Hope you get better soon.

  3. Durn shame when they waste that much eye-candy, ain’t it?
My husband has The Cold, and somehow ended up watching “Battlefield Earth” on cable over the weekend. Trainwreck-city. (IOW, so bad you can’t stop watching.) The scriptwriters should have been hung up by the privates using those “nose clips” from the movie.

  4. We once had to watch all the classically bad Arthurian movies for an Arthurian Legends class. Shudder. Perhaps the Monty Python version will wash the taste out of your brain?

  5. The phones at my doctor’s office were down this morning. When I tried later, I was on hold for 20 minutes. I’m going to try again now.
(And they wonder why people end up at Urgent Care places?)

  6. Broncitis is awful. Just had it two weks ago, along with ear ache and major congestion. I got anti-biotics, cough stuff and a shot of steroids. Felt better in a couple of days.
    Get well. Take care

  7. It’s definitely doctor time. Sometimes even the mommy gets sick. Take gentle care of yourself.

  8. It being 8.45 pm here, I suspect you are at the doctor’s right now this minute. Do hope you get a nice shiney prescription AND a week off work…Relax, be kind to yourself, and get better soon.
    Love you lots xx
