Made It!

Stealth-blogging as St. Casserole sleeps–

My flight got in just about the time the RevGalBlogPal contingent was sitting down to dinner, and due to a miraculous lack of traffic, and a very fine taxi driver, I was able to join them!

We enjoyed a delicious meal. Laughter and tears abounded. I was excited to meet cheesehead, Reverend Mommy, NotShyChiRev and Chaplain Lydia, and to reconnect with reverendmother and St. C. Rev. Stacey arrived later and went out with some of us for a libation after the evening program ended.

The evening worship and program were great. It’s fun to sing hymns with 1000 people, accompanied by a gigantic pipe organ!

I’m sure someone has a camera, Mindy, and we’ll see what we can do about an anonymous picture of some sort.

On the plane I enjoyed reading Tracy Chevalier’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, and the time went by quickly.

Off to bed…

  1. So glad you finally arrived safely. Did I read that correctly, ‘a very fine taxi driver’? Wow! Signs of the Apocolypse.
Blessings on you, dear RevGal Matriarchy. The world will never be the same.

  2. “and due to a miraculous lack of traffic, and a very fine taxi driver, I was able to join them!”
I believe in a God of miracles 🙂 I’m glad you alerted us. I’m glad we prayed for the sadbird stuck at the aiport, but even more I’m glad we are loved by a God who shows time and time again that we can depend on Him

  3. Thank you for your prayers and kind thoughts yesterday. After I got on the plane, I began to feel this would somehow be allright, and it surely was.

  4. You know, I’ve had a lot of really great taxi drivers in Hotlanta, too (maybe they just grow them better there)—but I’ve never had good traffic! It was predestined that you get there!!! Yay!

  5. Even though I am jealous…I am SO glad that you made it in time! What a wonderful time for all of you!
Prayer is a wonderful thing is it not!
    And I loved that book!
