Phantasmagorical Phriday Phive

As posted earlier today by yours truly at RevGalBlogPals:
A mixture of the deep and the shallow today, in honor of All Hallows Eve and All Saints Day—

1) Favorite Halloween Candy
Milky Way candy bars (not the teeny mini ones, or the full size ones)

2) Least Favorite Halloween Candy
Anything licorice flavored

3) Best Costume Ever
Black cat with cute little whiskers and ears, and one of my dad’s socks for a tail

4) Worst Costume Ever
Cinderella, in a cutdown ballgown of my mother’s (too hard to walk around in)

5) A Saint you treasure (please feel free to use the definition of “Saint” that is meaningful to you and to your faith tradition and life experience)
My beloved godmother, Maggie (1909-1982): 4’10” tall with a size 4 shoe; maiden lady who cared for her mother; first grade teacher and elementary school principal; font of unconditional love, acceptance and encouragement; loyal Democrat; faithful Methodist churchwoman; with her best friend (my more prickly grandmother!), a planter of Sunday Schools all over Tidewater, Virginia–she never complained about sitting at the children’s table.
